  • A pub with a service yard
  • Two lock-up garage courts, a substation and a bin store
  • A playground and a ball court
  • The estate roads, pavements and street furniture

Requirements

RequirementNotes
FiveM server artifactUp to date, with support for asset escrow.
KeymasterThe asset is escrow protected. It must be granted to the Keymaster account that owns your server key.
FrameworkNone. No framework or other resources are required.

Installation

  1. Download dd-churchill_close from your Keymaster account, under keymaster.fivem.net, Granted Assets.
  2. Place the dd-churchill_close folder in your server's resources directory. Do not rename it, and make sure fxmanifest.lua sits directly inside it rather than in a second folder of the same name.
  3. Add it to server.cfg:
    ensure dd-churchill_close
  4. Restart the server. Players must reconnect fully to load the new collision, not just rejoin from the pause menu.

Doors and gates

Every door and gate on the estate is a native GTA physics door, placed in the map itself. They swing when pushed and need no script.

They work with any door lock resource, such as ox_doorlock or qb-doorlock. Register them in that resource by model and position.

The flat above the shop

The flat is supplied unfurnished: bare rooms with radiators, ceiling lights, switches and sockets. Furnish it with your own housing or decorating script.

Configuration

config.lua is not encrypted, so you can edit it directly. These are the options meant to be changed:

Config.Blip = { enabled = true, sprite = 40, colour = 3, scale = 0.8, label = 'Churchill Close' }

-- Interior lighting in the shop and the flat
Config.InteriorLights = true
Config.LightsOnHour, Config.LightsOffHour = 18, 7

-- Neon window signs flicker like worn tubes
Config.NeonFlicker = true
OptionWhat it does
BlipThe map blip: on or off, its icon, colour, size and name.
InteriorLightsTurns the interior lighting in the shop and the flat on or off.
LightsOnHour, LightsOffHourThe in-game hours the interior lights are on between. They also come on whenever a player is under a ceiling light.
NeonFlickerMakes the neon window signs flicker like worn tubes. Set to false for steady signs.
Do not change Config.Origin or Config.Heading. They must match the map placement, and changing them moves the lights and signs away from the buildings.

Compatibility

The estate replaces part of the Davis city block south of Grove Street. It ships edited copies of the Rockstar map files for that block: the sc1_* ymaps and their collision.

Any other resource that edits the same files will conflict with this one, and only one of them can load. If you run another map that changes that part of Davis, remove one of the two.

Clearing the FiveM cache

  1. Close FiveM completely.
  2. Press Win + R, paste %localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app\data\ and press Enter.
  3. Delete the folders cache, server-cache and server-cache-priv.
  4. Start FiveM and rejoin.

Troubleshooting

ProblemFix
Falling through the ground or walking through wallsReconnect fully so the new collision loads. If it continues, another resource is editing the same sc1_* files (see Compatibility).
The old Davis block still showsAnother resource is streaming the same block. Remove it, restart the server and clear your cache.
Failed to verify protected resourceThe asset is not on the Keymaster account that owns your server key, or your artifact is outdated. Re-download it from Keymaster.
Map does not load at allCheck the folder is not nested twice and that ensure dd-churchill_close is in server.cfg.
Lights or neon signs float away from the buildingsConfig.Origin or Config.Heading has been changed. Put back the values the resource shipped with.
Doors cannot be lockedThey are native doors with no lock of their own. Register them in your door lock resource by model and position.
